Voice previews and official trailer for Jojo’s anime.

Instead of screenshots like we have been getting, for once we actually have video previews of the upcoming Jojo’s material. First for the Anime:

Overall it looks pretty good, then again SpeedWagon does make anything and everything pretty good. The only real issue to put out there is that the animation that is put into the fights seems inconsistant. Johnathan getting punched in the face and SpeedWagon’s hat looked pretty alright, but Johnathan shoulder charging that bully wasn’t actually animated. Then again, it is a preview and it’s entirely possible that they are saving it for more important and longer fights. At least they fixed Dio’s “sharp” face. As for the game.

I love the guy on the right who’s cosplaying as Rohan. As for the actually game, I’m just really glad that they got a guy who sounds like Kiyoyuki Yanada, who voiced Jotaro in the first game. Actuall, all of the voices sounded pretty good, save for maybe Joseph. Not that his voice was bad, it just didn’t necessarily sound appropriate for a very hot-blooded young man. Then again, he and Mista are the only ones smart enough to bring a gun to the battle, so I can only fault Joseph so much.

You’ve got to love this year. It really is the best time to be a Jojo’s fan.

JoJo’s the Animation with Subtitles and a Better Game Trailer

The anime community is quick on the ball to translate something I wanted to see. You remember the JoJo’s Animation trailer, now remember being able to know what was said during it.

Takehito Koyasu was an excellent pick for Dio. But that’s not all. Now we have a better look at the trailer for All Star Battle. It doesn’t have a Rohan cosplayer, but you can hear the voices better.

The game still looks interesting. I didn’t expect Gold Experience Requiem to be in the game since that seems a little unbalanced what with it being invincible, but maybe it’s just a power up ultra like when Makoto from Street Fighter gets a sunburn. More importantly, at least from this trailer since it isn’t gameplay, are that I can finally distinguish the voices well enough to comment on them. At first, I thought that everyone was fine except maybe Joseph, but I’m not sure anymore. Jotaro and Wham sound appropriately voiced, Jotaro being very calm and collected even when kicking ass and Wham sounding like he has a lot of authority and being calm inside that, but their actors don’t sound as into it as they should be. This may seem like a non sequitur, but did you ever see the Gurren Lagann parts of Super Robot Wars Z 2 – Saiseihen?

I’m getting the same feeling where the voice sounds right, but something is slightly off as though the actor wasn’t totally into it. Maybe it’ll be better when I’m playing the game itself. However, Joseph still sounds off. He doesn’t sound young or hot blooded enough to accidentally set off a volcano. That’s super robot levels of hot blood, so you have to bring you A game to that voice. Gyro is the only one I wasn’t at least somewhat bothered by.

Still looking forward to the game. Gyro’s horse has become the equivalent of The Big O’s piston punch because no matter how many flaws crop up in that game, stomping on people with a horse will save it just like the final move against Big Duo makes that whole show worth it.

Oh, and the pizza and mozzarella song and Gyro’s sweet 1800′s grill, obviously. Basically, I want this game for Gyro and no other reason.

Just try and find a better moment in JoJo’s than this. That’s what I thought.

Yeah, that’s the way to do it. Can we agree that we’re coming into ASB with a little “who’d win in a fight” mentality? The moment Mista and Hol Horse were both set to be in the game, I was thinking about who has the better gun stand. But the stand out rivalry is obviously the all out cage match of Cherries vs. Cheese.

The gameplay that we got to see with the main showcase characters, Johnny, Johnathan, Will, and JoJolion Josuke are pretty interesting. I was wrong about what move I thought would be the On Fire Fist, but we knew it would be there. Zoom punch got my attention because it looks like it sticks for a second instead of retracting immediately. If it does, it could be really awesome for anti-air because an opponent could misjudge the time and still jump into it. Will also has it, so I await my match where we sit across the ring just doing that at each other.

Johnny looks like he’s either going to be the character that’s really hard to use because of his very limited movement when not on Slow Dancer but very rewarding if you can handle him or the character that caters to spamming because he’s going to be projectile heavy. That does follow; his power was shooting his fingernails, but I don’t want that to mean he’ll be the back-up-and-shoot-you character.

JoJolion Josuke I think is going to be the trap/counter character with that all based around the soap bubble. I’ve got to give CC2 some credit for what they used for his moves because you see him using a bunch of soap bubbles as a barrier around his body like the shaving scene. He also does that at a distance, but I’m mostly interested in when the screen goes black. That specific bubble will steal the players’ “eyes” by blacking the screen so whoever’s JoJolion Josuke can get a free hit. That’s going to be really hard to use for human player because it blanks the screen, but there may be more to it than what’s in the PV.

Oh, and Kira. He has Sheer Heart Attack, but that’s all they’re telling us. I figured he would also be a counter/trap character because of the way Another One Bites the Dust works and all the bombs, but it’s not in the PV. At this point, I think we can be clear that Kira is DLC only. The way he’s rolled in with the Hayato Memo Book and the specific mention of PSN in the text on the still intro page (edit: and that he’s listed as such on the official character page.) You gotta buy him extra. If you don’t want to mess with getting foreign DLC, you might want to import fast.

I assumed you guys would be interested in knowing what they were saying. It helps me out. I didn’t know what it was JoJolion Josuke was doing during his Grand Heat, but the friction stealing is cool. Okuyasu calling Giorno names makes way more sense than insulting his topknot that he totally has. His classic style “uurrryyy” is also a nice touch.

“Why does my watch keep skipping ten seconds?” Vento Aureo Commemorative Watches

Time comes up a lot in JoJo’s from powers. Style too, though that’s not typically a power. So let’s combine the two. The Seiko Watch company is entering a collaborative project with LuckyLand and Araki to make a series of Vento Aureo commemorative watches each based on one of the main protagonist group.

The Giorno Watch with the very nice Stand Arrow motif on the 12 mark.

The Bruno Watch with the zipper teeth around the subclocks.

The Fugo Watch with his gold and purple outfit color set.

The Trish Watch with the math operators from her skirt and from Spice Girl

Then we start to get to my favorites with the Mista watch with the Pistols on their numbers and bullets on all the others

The Abbachio Watch with the face numbers done in the style of Moody Blues’s rewind clock.

And finally the Narancia Watch with face designed to resemble the Aerosmith radar.

On top of all that, each watch comes with two special engravings: One on the back with Coco Jumbo and the name of the character for the watch, and one on the side that reads “Vento Aureo,” and they all come in their own special box. If you’re interested in purchasing a high fashion item, they’re dropping sometime in April for the whopping price of ¥42,000 ($436.86.) I don’t know if I’m down to throw that much money at it, but I’m really loving the design of that Mista watch. If you were interested in the 1/1 Stone Mask, this might also be something to consider.

This Pose is my Heritage! All Star Battle Manga Comparisons

Did you ever end up playing the game with the ASB previews where you’d try to recognize moves from the manga? How about poses? This is JoJo after all. Well, wonder no more, at least for a few characters. Someone on Nico Video put out a comparison video showing where a lot of the poses for both super cutscenes and just general movement come from. It’s Polsy, so you’ll need to follow the link for the full video, but I grabbed a few pictures.

I couldn’t not put this one in .gif form

This is the best game. That Mista one just floored me. The really impressive ones to me, though, are Johnathan, Gyro, and sort of Will and Giorno because those are just normal moves and not part of any ultras. For Johnathan and Gyro, those are what they look like when dodging. This is the best game.

Make sure and check out the full video for even more comparisons.

(Thanks to Goon Kurtofan for posting this and also probably being the one that put it on Polsy)

Terrence is starting to lose it. I mean his blood because it’s all being punched out of him.

Despite that I named the article after Kira, the commercial is pretty evenly spread amongst the characters that are mentioned. Kira just gets a slightly bigger scene where he blows up Okuyasu. You get to see him launching Sheer Heart Attack instead of it just being in the air. Good enough for me. Maybe we’ll get to see Another One Bites The Dust soon.

Curious about the other Parts making into anime form?

All right, this probably doesn’t count in the way you were hoping, but this is a very cool video considering that this is probably something someone made in their spare time for fun and fandom. Actually, there’s a whole series of these “手描きジョジョ” or “Hand Drawn JoJo” all over YouTube. They have some creative ideas here and there, but it doesn’t get as impressive as a whole animated short like the above. Look them up if you feel like some fan videos.

(Thanks to JoJo Tumblr for reposting this from Steel Ball Run Tumblr which has a few .gifs based on the video)

“And now watch as I pull a spinning rabbit out of this hat.” Little by Little 2

Back for more fun, there’s a new chapter/edition of Little by Little up on Batoto. Virgina Room brings you another chapter of JoJo’s fun with a few quick jokes to bring you a smile and a good laugh.

There’s a different spread of content this time. The first issue had around two or three jokes per part with a little extra like the Joseph Finisher Rhyme-Off. This issue actually has a full on Part 2 story about Caeser’s and Joseph’s training days where Joseph climbed out of the Hell Climb pit only to be pushed back in every day. There’s also a lot more Part 4 gags.

Something about this makes me feel like I should be creeped out.

And we got to expand into full on Parts 7 and 8 jokes.

The only downside is that the issue cuts down in other areas. There’s only the one Part 5 joke and no Part 6 material at all other than a splash page of Jolyne. There’s also no new cross story interactions like the quiz show in the first one, but the jokes are still good and the art is still pretty nice. If you liked the first, you’ll like the second. And you can trust me on that.

I pledge to you that my taste is and will remain both honest and sanitary.

(Thanks to Little by Little‘s translator, Monocle, for sending me the link to the new issue.)

ASB League Groups E and F Highlights Reel

And with this, the tournament is closed. All the results are in and the real tournament can begin unless there’s going to be some last minute entries. I remember hearing something about that.

Group E

Poor Joseph. If this was Part 3 you, you might stand a chance since you’d have Hermit Purple. Unfortunately, stand users are supreme unless you have enough projectiles and your machine gun is a super. And you have to fight freaking Narancia this time. Narancia was one of the characters I was concerned about because of the Part 5 game. In that, Aerosmith was ridiculous because it could stop everyone, except Ghiaccio, in their tracks by flying in a circle and firing bullets. I was worried that Narancia was going to be exactly like that, an impenetrable wall of bombs and bullets.

But it’s not all lost. This group does buck one of the trends.

No one sweeps this time! Everyone suffers at least one loss, and there’s a distinct upset. I mean, other than how upset I am that, even with no sweep, Joseph got completely shut out, or that I’m upset that I was right about Narancia being the harbinger of RC Airplane Death. It’s that Hermes manages to sneak a win against Narancia of all people, being the one blemish on his record.

To that end, Hermes is now one of my favorite picks. Not because she beat Narancia specifically, but because her fighting is geared towards more aggressive and upfront fighting. More specifically, she’s a stand user that doesn’t seem to fight mostly by doing stand shoot and inching closer to do more stand shoots. She even has a nice counter move. It’s refreshing.

JoJolion Josuke is the other exception. He has some nice combos, though he is a little overly reliant on his break dance spin. There are some times where he goes for the ORAORA, notably in his fight with Akira, but he does use some nice combinations of moves that make him look pretty good. We get to see plenty of his ultra where he steals your site, which doesn’t makes as fun use of the game mechanics as I thought, but blanking the screen after that move is used would be more annoying than anything.

Narancia and JoJolion Josuke move on to the final 16.

Group F

I didn’t get the big group shot for this one, so I went with the picture of what ends up being probably the worst fight since Johnny and Hol Horse. This is not a game for projectile users that aren’t Caeser, so most of their fight is them standing on opposite sides of the map taking potshots at each other. I do think that has to do with the AI, for what it’s worth.

The group is Cars, Kakyoin, Mista, Okuyasu, and Diavolo. It’s another grouping of stand users with one non-stand user. I expected the Group E result again since Cars isn’t Caeser, but this is the group for bucking trends even more.

Not only are there no sweeps, there are no shut outs either. Everyone manages to win at least one fight. This is because projectiles are the losers paths and everyone is able to stomp all over Mista except for Kakyoin. Like I said, they spend most of the match taking easy potshots at each other. Kakyoin was able to do ok in his other matches because he can fight at long to mid range, but he let Mista fight at long range the whole time. That’s why he was able to pull out a win and not be this group’s shut out.

Also, Cars kicks some ass without ever going Ultimate Lifeform and defying my expectations by being a finalist with no projectiles or stand. He and Diavolo are on top because they managed to fight the same way of getting in close. Only Kakyoin was able to keep Cars reasonably at bay. Okuyasu sort of fought the same way, but he wasn’t really able to pull anything off because he seemed to keep trying a charge move, like Jotaro and Star Finger, but kept getting interrupted, like Jotaro and Star Finger. He also seems a bit slower than Cars and Diavolo, and that doesn’t help.

Diavolo and Cars move on to the final 16. I’m not sure when it is they’ll be broadcasting the fights from them, but it’s 15 fights in total. We’ll also get to see the return of our top popular competitors Johnathan, DIO, and Josuke. Keep an eye on the UStream.

(Thanks to JoJo F2C for posting. You can also watch the vidoes there if you prefer it to Polsy or if the Polsy links go down.)

I didn’t pick up on it before, like most of the time with these, but now I know why Hermes seems less geared towards overuse of her stand. It’s not because she’s not going hog wild with it. It’s because unlike a lot of the other stands that have ORAORA that the user fires off, KISS attacks to enhance what Hermes is doing. If she slide kicks, which you’ll see a lot, KISS will too. If she punches, it will and maybe follow up with a short combo. I actually think that works and looks better in general.

I’m a little busy today, so I can’t come in with my full “pretend I know what fighting games are” analysis at the moment, but I wanted to post the video since that’s the important part.

I Want You to Get Back to the Rainbow in the Roundabout! ASB Manga Comparisons for PVs 2, 3, and 6

$

Not much longer now. In commemoration, JoJo’s fandom is going crazy. One crazy is that someone dug up and brought together all the manga comparisons videos for the PVs we’ve missed. I’ve posted the videos for PVs 4 and 5 before, so now we get PVs 2, 3 and 6.

They’re Nico, so I need to link them. Each of the pictures links to the video.

PV 2

This video has comparisons for Wham, Giorno, Mista, and Joseph, and most Joseph. He takes up most of the end of the video with his unique track. Each of these videos contains different music than normal. The ones from before I remember only having “Roundabout.” Some of these use them, but also other tracks. Wham, Giorno and Mista are all played over “Get Back” by The Beatles, but Joseph is played over “Eat It” by Weird Al.

I’m impressed with working in the soda shot. Giorno’s poses are taken a lot from volume covers. Wham and Mista have some interesting ones, but we’ve seen Mista before. It makes me happy to see the very smiley Pistols, though. They are so happy riding those bullets. You also get to see a few comparisons beyond the manga with Joseph’s sprite from the Part 3 game and some models from the Part 5 game.

PV 3

This is when you really get to see that the comparisons aren’t just to the original manga. It says “OVA Version Respect?” so it’s not confirmed, but the comparison is easy. It’ll more obvious when you see it in motion in the video.

The video contains the comparisons for Polnareff, Kakyoin, Josuke, Okuyasu, Abdul, Hol Horse, and Dio. The other characters get “Roundabout,” as per normal, bu Dio gets his own in “Lock Up the Wolves” by, who else, DIO. You start getting a lot more of the sprites in this one since we have so many people in the Part 3 game here. Also, watching Okuyasu getting hit in the face by a flowerpot is still funny.

PV 6

That picture doesn’t work as well if it isn’t a .gif. It says, “Is the motion respect for the Part 3 game?” So, again, there’s no definite confirmation, but man does it look similar. One other detail that’s nice is that the texture on Dio’s eyes does that flowery splitting before shooting the beam. Very nice detail.

This video contains the comparisons for Phantom Blood Dio, Rohan, Kira and Kosaku Kira, Koichi, Otoshi, and Enrico. On top of possibly pulling from the Part 3 game, we also see a lot of other pulls from places like the between chapter doodles, an album that Killer Queen posed on once apparently, and Otoshi’s jumps being based on general guitarist jumps including one used specifically by Eddie Van Halen. Very cool.

Oh, and if you’re looking for a little more Rohan, there is also this other comparison video made by someone else in a different style. It compares a few of the other same points, but also goes into the referenced dialogue as well as poses. It uses a few songs. “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” by Bob Dylan, some Boyz II Men song I don’t know, and “Dream Police” by Cheap Trick. It’s a cool video.

Three days. Just a little more push, and we’re good to fight!

It’s Not About Hairstyles. It’s About Dedication to the Costume.

There was a big post ASB Launch event back on the 1st. The event was held at Yoshimoto Mugendai Hall and was just an excuse to sit back and have some fun with the fandom. There were even stage events including a big, cosplay photo shoot. Someone was nice enough to post those images, and it’s cool to see what costumes are being pulled out. You have your normal main character costumes, but there are some costumes pulled from places I wouldn’t have guessed.

The guy dressed as Pucci? That’s his actual hair. It’s not make-up or an effect. He actually shaved his hair into that shape. The Jotaro guy is dressed up to be with the Part 3 guys, but since they had him around, they pulled him in.

Santana was not expected in that outfit. Or at all. I guess if you were expecting Santana, you’d probably have to expect him in that outfit, but the Joseph there was apparently not ready for the big diaper man and couldn’t not laugh.

This was the first one that caught me by surprise, and it’s the biggest one. The people are posing by part, so that guy in the center has to be an SBR character, but I couldn’t remember him by his outfit. That’s actually someone cosplaying Dr. Ferdinand, user of Scary Monsters. He’s the one responsible for turning Diego into everyone’s favorite Dinosaur Cowboy. Not bad.

So, how do you feel about the new live action Iggy? Boston Terriers actually do have the big ears like that, but it might have been hard and possibly dangerous to train one to eat gum, so this guy’s going the extra mile. I really like the solidarity between the guy who’s Alessi and the guy who’s Death 13? Can’t use your scythe out here? Don’t worry buddy! I’ll let you borrow my murdering axe.

There’s a lot of cool details going on in this picture. The Josuke and Okuyasu reading manga like in the commercials, the Harvest guy holding up a giant 100 yen coin, the Rohan with the Heaven’s Door puppet, the Highway Star guy even putting the checkering tape over his face. This is cool. I think that guy with the fishing pole is supposed to be Toyohiro Kanedaichi, user of Super Fly. I don’t totally recognize him, but getting a radio tower inside the hall would probably be pretty hard, so it’s cool.

Double Narancia Fury! Anyone who cosplays Diavolo gets praise just for making his weird mesh shirt thing. The guy playing one of the Pistols is also fun. I like the glasses he used to make their unique eyes.

I wonder if Josuke is so pissed because he doesn’t et to be the center stage Josuke this time. JoJolion Josuke gets to pose with the Part 4 guys because he’d be by himself otherwise.

Is anyone else uncomfortable with the axe wielding maniac being behind anyone?

(Thanks to the JoJo F2C for posting these. Original article from a Nico Blog)

The Panacotta Fugo Experience. Purple Haze Feedback English Translation!

$

Get the English book here! There’s also a link at the bottom, but here’s the link if you’re just here to get it.

The past is never behind you. It is the building holding you up every day. You can feel the choices under your feet. When you’re determined and confident, your footing is solid, and you can stand proud and easy. When you’re regretful, your footing is loose, and you feel like it’s going to collapse and take you with it. You can’t change the past, and, thus, you can’t replace parts of the building. You can only build more of it and hope to reinforce the weaker parts. When a chance comes along to do that, to reverse a decision that haunts you, what do you do?

Purple Haze Feedback is a light novel written by Kadano Kouhei and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki that has now been translated into English by Buddy Waters. It functions as a sequel to Part 5: Golden Wind and stars Panacotta Fugo, the character most known for being written out of the story for being too strong. Fugo is called into service by Passione now lead by Giorno Giovanna, and also powerful enough to shut down events tantamount to the Super Bowl for meetings, and told by his Number 3 Guido Mista that he must seek out and kill a member of a remnant of Diavolo’s old Passione before that faction can flood the streets of Italy with the drugs they worked to get rid of. He is accompanied by GioGio’s bodyguard Sheila “E” Capezzuto and leader of the intelligence division Cannolo Murolo on his journey to answer a single question: “Why am earning my way back into Passione and not already standing at the side of it’s boss?” A single question that is the key to everything that makes Fugo who he is and what inside himself created his destructive alter ego.

When I heard about Feedback, I thought it was going to be very straightforward. “Fugo beats up the drug trade” sounds like a fun romp through JoJo’s to me. Give them some crazy stands to get some good fights, and we’re good to go. And it turns out that I was totally right. Purple Haze Feedback does have a very straightforward plot that doesn’t stray too far from that concept. There are little complications here and there that strive to make the most of the JoJo’s and Italian settings. There are parts that almost read like a tour guide to Italy, but always used in service of the scene and is only awkward for a moment. For instance, Team Fugo has to travel to Sicily at one point in pursuit of their target, and the narrative takes a moment to tell us about the Sicilian history of Nazis and WWII. You might be able to see where I’m going with Nazis and JoJo’s, but if you can guess the ultimate payoff for it, you’re reading ahead.

No, Feedback is a character driven narrative, and that’s what makes it shine. The story is largely focused on Fugo’s character arc, but each character around him is written to strengthen that arc while still feeling like full characters themselves, even the old Part 5 characters. Fugo’s meetings with Giorno and Mista go a long way in fleshing the two of them out. Mista gets some fun lines like, “I only survived because I’m a super lucky mega-nice guy born under a blessed star, but you didn’t have that to fall back on,” and his fear of four is driven to such an insane degree that he won’t even touch two because it’s half of four. Giorno appears only briefly, and sometimes the story does sometimes dote a little hard on him, but his ability to unlock the potential in others and make others want to support him is shown far more effectively than it was in most of Part 5.

And that’s just those two. A fair portion of the story is flashbacks to Fugo interacting with Bruno’s gang, including that fateful scene outside the chapel, and his perspective and inner monologue help give Narancia, Abbachio, and especially Bruno development as well. The new characters are done well too, mostly through effectively tying their personalities and personal histories to their stands, as Part 5 did, while keeping them interesting powers in fights. Angelica Attanasio’s Night Bird Flying, named for the B side of “Dolly Dagger” by Jimi Hendrix, allows her to make targeted people experience a bad acid trip on the spot as a reflection of her desire to force the pain of her crippling drug addiction onto others while using that to grasp even the smallest moment of the human warmth through understanding she so desperately lacks. Massimo Volpe’s Manic Depression, named for the Jimi Hendrix song, allows him to either make super drugs out of salt or to get so high he turns into Ron Perlman because his family crushed his life before he could do anything about it causing him to have no dreams or belief in the future. The stand designs are fantastic, and I don’t just mean the descriptions. Araki did good on the stand design, too.

That’s Volpe’s Manic Depression, and it’s legitimately the most unsettling stand design in the whole series while also managing to be a good reflection of it’s user. As a zombie newborn, it’s future is dead, exactly as the user sees it. And then the fights are still nice. Transition to mostly text didn’t stop the fights from being plan based and nicely visceral, so no worries about that.

I only have two real gripes with Feedback.  One is that the fanservice can feel a bit arbitrary. In particular, there’s a cameo from a character that feels like the author just wanted to have that cameo and came up with a way to justify it afterwords. It’s used to make a point effectively, surprisingly, but it’s still jarring at first. The other is that the language can get a bit flowery, so there’s descriptions that make you pause and laugh at the prose. The one that stands out the most is towards the end when Fugo’s inner monologue describes Volpe with, “With him, all paths lead to blackness in the depths of a bottomless
crevasse carved in the side of a glacier!” It’s honestly hilarious how overwrought that is, like the author, for a second, thought he may have lost you on that Volpe is a bad dude.

They’re small complaints, though. As a JoJo fan, Purple Haze Feedback is definitely an enjoyable read. I barreled through all 173 pages in one sitting without having to think about it, and that’s the highest praise I can offer. Buddy Waters did a good job with the translation, a spelling error or two aside. The language sounds natural, the Italian locals are identified effectively to make sure the names correspond to the right places, and it reads well. You can download the torrent for the English book here. Please enjoy it.

You have to push creativity. Cosplaying is all well and good and very impressive in some instances, but you can always do more. This picture is from this very cool album. It starts off with the Part 5 characters in a band. I do like the image of Abbacchio with a saxophone, but the second half tells the progression of Part 5 done just with pictures of the Passione gang sitting around a card table in a gazebo. It’s well done even in the photography and the way the pictures become bleaker towards the end. Being set to PJ Harvey’s “In the Dark Places” from the Let England Shake album helps even it it does have the tritest Linkin Park lyrics pasted around the band pictures in the beginning. And there’s a fun bonus all the way at the end, so have some fun with it.

The Return of JoJo’s Project! HQ Vento Aureo English Chapter 50!

Look who’s back! Good to see you, actually ok English translation. Yes, the new Part 5 scans are back on schedule, so you can see it in better quality with a better translation. This current release, as according to the JoJo Project post, unfortunately does not have the cover or Araki’s author blurb, but it will when we get the full volume release.

This release is Chapter 50 that has Mista’s first fight. I really like Mista’s face when he starts firing into the room through the window shutters. It’s such a good look of, “Yep, just another mobster day.”

You can read more details from JoJo Project Tumblr and download the volume here.
